Lines have now reopened following a passenger being taken ill on a train at Kirkcaldy. However, whilst service recovers, trains running between Inverkeithing and Kirkcaldy may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 23:00.
