Buses replace trains between Cheltenham Spa and Gloucester on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October

Engineering work is taking place between Cheltenham Spa and Gloucester closing all lines.

CrossCountry:

Buses will replace trains between:

  • Birmingham New Street and Gloucester
  • Bromsgrove, Worcestershire Parkway and Cheltenham Spa
  • Birmingham New Street and Cheltenham Spa (Sunday)

Great Western Railway:

Trains between London Paddington / Swindon and Cheltenham Spa will terminate / start Gloucester. Most trains will arrive Gloucester a few minutes later than normal. Most trains will depart Gloucester a few minutes earlier than normal, with normal timings departing Stonehouse and beyond. Trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Worcester Shrub Hill / Worcester Foregate Street will not call at Gloucester.

Buses will replace trains between Cheltenham Spa and Gloucester.

Trains between Salisbury /Bristol Temple Meads and Worcester Shrub Hill / Worcester Foregate Street will terminate / start Gloucester.

Replacement buses will operate (2 buses per hour) between Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa, extending hourly to / from Ashchurch for Tewkesbury, Worcester Shrub Hill and Worcester Foregate Street.

Transport for Wales:

Buses will replace trains between Cheltenham Spa and Gloucester all weekend.
