Amended Great Western Railway morning service via Reading on Sunday 4 October

Engineering work is taking place early morning between Reading and Theale, closing some lines.

High Speed:

The 08:04 (departing 07:53) London Paddington to Penzance will depart earlier at 07:53 and will divert between Reading and Westbury (via Swindon – not calling). It will not call at Newbury and Pewsey. See train below.

The 08:44 (departing 08:34) London Paddington to Penzance will call additionally at Newbury and Pewsey.

Local Service:

The 08:06 Reading to Newbury will not run. An earlier rail replacement bus will depart at 07:51 from Reading to Newbury calling all stations except Newbury Racecourse (connecting at Newbury into the train below).

The 08:33 Reading to Bedwyn will start from Newbury at 09:02.
