Buses replace trains between Seven Sisters and Cheshunt / Enfield Town on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September

Engineering work is taking place between Seven Sisters and Cheshunt / Enfield Town, closing all lines.

Greater Anglia:

Services that normally operate via Seven Sisters will be diverted to operate via Tottenham Hale.

Stations on the Tottenham Hale line are only a short distance from those on the Seven Sisters line. You can view maps that show routes between these stations on the Greater Anglia website.

London Overground:

No trains will run between Hackney Downs and Cheshunt / Enfield Town.

Rail replacement buses will run between Seven Sisters and Cheshunt / Enfield Town.

If you have a National Rail paper ticket or e-ticket, you can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following operators’ services:

  • Local bus 276 for journeys between Hackney Downs and Rectory Road
  • Local buses 106 or 393 for journeys between Clapton and Stoke Newington
  • Local buses 243 and 254 for journeys between Seven Sisters and Stamford Hill
  • Victoria line to Seven Sisters
  • Local buses 149, 249, 279 and 349 for journeys between Seven Sisters, Bruce Grove, White Hart Lane, Silver Street and Edmonton Green
  • Local bus 192 for journeys between Edmonton Green, Bush Hill Park and Enfield Town
  • Local bus 349 for journeys between Edmonton Green and Southbury
  • Local bus 279 for journeys between Edmonton Green and Turkey Street
  • Local buses 279 and 251 for journeys between Turkey Street and Theobalds Grove
  • Local buses 251 / 310 for journeys between Theobalds Grove and Cheshunt

If you are using contactless payment / Oyster card, you can also use the above alternative travel options but you will be required to pay the normal tap in / tap out fares for your journey.
