Buses replace trains to / from Worcester Shrub Hill on Sunday 4 October

Engineering work is taking place at Worcester Shrub Hill, closing all lines.

Great Western Railway:

Trains between London Paddington and Worcester Shrub Hill / Worcester Foregate Street / Great Malvern / Hereford will terminate / start at Worcestershire Parkway.

Trains to Worcestershire Parkway will depart Evesham and Pershore and arrive Worcestershire Parkway a few minutes later than normal. Most trains from Worcestershire Parkway will depart Worcestershire Parkway and Pershore and arrive Evesham a few minutes earlier than normal.

Replacement buses will operate (hourly) between Worcestershire Parkway, Worcester Shrub Hill, Worcester Foregate Street, Malvern Link and Great Malvern for West Midlands Railway connections to/from Colwall, Ledbury and Hereford.

At Worcester Foregate Street and Malvern Link:

  • Buses from Worcestershire Parkway to Great Malvern will stop to drop off only
  • Most buses from Great Malvern to Worcestershire Parkway will stop to pick up only

First bus of the day to Worcestershire Parkway will start from Worcester Foregate Street, calling Worcester Shrub Hill.

The 21:50 London Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill will terminate at Evesham. A replacement bus will be provided from Evesham to Pershore, Worcestershire Parkway and Worcester Shrub Hill.

West Midlands Railway:

All day on Sunday, no trains will run to / from Worcester Shrub Hill. Trains that usually run to / from Worcester Shrub Hill will instead run to / from Worcester Foregate Street.

A rail replacement bus service will run between Worcester Shrub Hill and Worcester Foregate Street.
