Buses replace late night trains between Manchester Oxford Road and Warrington Central / Liverpool Lime Street from Monday 24 to Thursday 27 August

Engineering work is taking place at several locations between Manchester Oxford Road and Liverpool Lime Street, closing some lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

As a result:

  • The 22:47 Manchester Oxford Road to Liverpool Lime Street service will start from Warrington Central. A bus will be provided from Manchester Oxford Road to Liverpool Lime Street, stopping to set down only from Warrington Central
  • The 22:49 Warrington Central to Manchester Oxford Road train service will not run and will be replaced by a bus
  • The 23:28 Manchester Oxford Road to Liverpool Lime Street train service will not run and will be replaced by a bus
  • The 23:36 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Oxford Road train service will not run and will be replaced by a bus
