Buses replace trains between Selby and York / Leeds / Micklefield and also between York and Moorthorpe from Saturday 29 to Monday 31 August

Engineering work is taking place between Selby and Micklefield / Church Fenton, closing all lines.

Northern:

Trains between:

York and Hull and beyond: Trains will be diverted via an alternative route between Selby and York and will not call at Sherburn-in-Elmet, Church Fenton and Ulleskelf.

York and Sheffield: Trains will not run.

Hull and Halifax / Leeds : Trains will run between Leeds and Halifax, and between Hull and Selby.

Buses will be provided between:

  • Selby and York
  • York and Moorthorpe
  • Selby and Micklefield

Train services are available between Moorthorpe and Sheffield.

TransPennine Express:

TransPennine Express will operate the following service between:

Saturday to Monday:

  • Liverpool Lime Street and Leeds
  • Selby and Hull
  • Manchester Piccadilly and Wakefield Kirkgate
  • Liverpool Lime Street and Newcastle
  • Manchester Victoria and Scarborough
  • Manchester Airport and Redcar Central

Rail replacement buses will operate between:

  • Selby and Leeds

For travel between York and Wakefield Kirkgate, you can use your ticket at no extra cost on Northern services via Leeds.
