Buses replace trains between Selby and York / Leeds on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October

Engineering work is taking place between Leeds and Church Fenton / Selby, closing all lines.

CrossCountry:

Trains to / from North East England / Scotland will not call at Wakefield Westgate or Leeds.

If you're travelling between York and Leeds / Wakefield Westgate, you can use your ticket on Northern train / bus services or TransPennine Express bus services between York and Leeds. From Leeds, you can use any alternative Northern service to / from Wakefield Westgate at no extra cost.

Northern:

Trains between:

Blackpool North and York: Trains will run between Blackpool North and Leeds.

Leeds and York (local stopping service): Trains will not run.

Halifax / Leeds and Selby / Hull: Trains will run between Leeds and Halifax, and between Selby and Hull.

Buses will be provided between:

  • Leeds and Selby
  • Leeds and York

TransPennine Express:

TransPennine Express will operate the following service between:

Saturday:

  • Liverpool Lime Street and Newcastle via Castleford
  • York and Middlesborough
  • Manchester Airport and Scarborough via Castleford
  • Leeds and Hull via Castleford
  • Manchester Piccadilly and York

Sunday:

  • Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Victoria
  • Manchester Piccadilly and Newcastle
  • York and Middlesborough
  • Manchester Piccadilly and Scarborough via Castleford
  • Leeds and Hull via Castleford
  • Manchester Piccadilly and York
