Buses replace late night / early morning trains between Haywards Heath and Lewes / Seaford / Eastbourne / Hastings from Monday 7 to Friday 11 September

Engineering work is taking place between Haywards Heath and Lewes, closing all lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

From approximately 23:00 until the end of service on Monday to Thursday evenings, buses will replace trains between Haywards Heath and Lewes.

Monday to Thursday:

  • The 22:46 London Victoria to Hastings train will be diverted via Brighton and will run with an extended journey time
  • The 23:09 Haywards Heath to Eastbourne train will be diverted to run via Brighton and run with an extended journey time

Tuesday to Friday:

  • The 01:08 Haywards Heath to Eastbourne train will be diverted to run via Brighton and run with an extended journey time

Replacement buses will run between Haywards Heath and Lewes / Seaford / Eastbourne, and from Eastbourne to Hastings.
