Buses replace trains between Doncaster / Leeds and Darlington on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October

Engineering work is taking place between Leeds / Selby / Church Fenton / Poppleton and York, and between York and Darlington / Redcar Central closing all lines.

No trains will run between Doncaster / Leeds / Selby and York / Northallerton / Saltburn all weekend.

CrossCountry:

Buses will replace trains between Leeds and Darlington all weekend. These buses will run directly between Leeds and Darlington and will not call at other stations.

Grand Central:

It is not yet known how this service will be affected. Check back for updates closer to the date of travel.

LNER:

Buses will replace trains between Doncaster and Darlington, and between Wakefield Westgate and York.

Trains between London Kings Cross and Doncaster, and between Darlington and Edinburgh, will run a reduced service of 2 trains per hour with 1 train per hour running between Northallerton and Edinburgh. Trains are expected to have extended journey times.

Lumo:

No Lumo trains will run between London Kings Cross and Edinburgh all weekend. Lumo trains will run between Newcastle and Edinburgh, and between Edinburgh and Glasgow Queen Street only.

Northern:

No Northern trains will run between Moorthorpe / Leeds / Selby / Poppleton and York all weekend.

Rail replacement buses will run between Moorthorpe / Micklefield / Selby / Poppleton and York.

TransPennine Express:

No TransPennine Express trains will run between Wakefield Kirkgate / Leeds and Northallerton, or between York and Redcar Central / Saltburn, all weekend. Trains between York and Scarborough, and between Leeds and Hull, are unaffected by these works.

Rail replacement buses will run between Leeds and York, and between York and Redcar Central / Saltburn.
