Buses replace trains between Leeds and Huddersfield / Halifax via Dewsbury on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 August

Engineering work is taking place between Leeds and Deighton, closing all lines via Dewsbury.

Rail replacement buses will operate between:

  • Leeds and Huddersfield via Dewsbury
  • Leeds and Halifax via Dewsbury and Brighouse

Saturday only:

Services between Leeds and Manchester Victoria will be diverted to run via Bradford Interchange and Halifax. These services will no longer call at Cottingley, Morley, Batley, Dewsbury, Mirfield and Brighouse.

Saturday and Sunday:

Services between Leeds and Bradford Interchange via Dewsbury and Brighouse will not run.
