Buses replace trains to / from / via Guildford on Sunday 18 October

Engineering work is taking place between Wanborough and Guildford and also Woking and Haslemere, closing lines through Guildford.

Great Western Railway:

Trains that usually run between Reading and Redhill / Gatwick Airport will be amended to run between Reading and Ash only.

Replacement buses will run between:

  • North Camp and Gatwick Airport, calling at Guildford only
  • North Camp and Redhill, calling at all stations between Guildford and Reigate

You should change between train and bus services at North Camp.

Replacement buses will call at Dorking Main instead of Dorking (Deepdene). These two stations are a very short distance apart.

At Reigate, buses towards Gatwick Airport will drop off only, and buses from Gatwick Airport will pick up only.

South Western Railway:

Trains between London Waterloo and Portsmouth Harbour, will run between London Waterloo and Woking and between Haslemere and Portsmouth Harbour.

Trains between London Waterloo and Guildford will run between London Waterloo and Effingham Junction.

Buses will run between:

  • Woking and Haslemere
  • Woking and Guildford
  • Effingham Junction and Guildford
  • Guildford and Aldershot
